America’s Return to the Supercar Scene
Made in Bowling Green, KY, the 2014 Corvette was re-built from the ground up to be lighter, more rigid, more precise and more powerful. The C7 features a hydroformed aluminum frame making the car 57% stiffer and 100 pounds lighter than the previous generation. The updated 6.2 liter V8 produces 465 horsepower at 6000 RPMs and 460 ft-lbs of torque at 4600 RPMS. The increased power is combined with a redesigned and improved suspension, lighter frame, and updated in the software to run the Stingray from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and down the quarter-mile in 12 seconds at 119 miles per hour. Shift speed, rev matching, and gear prediction are improved in the C7′s 6-speed automatic transmission which can also be controlled with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Braking has also been improved with a Brembo system which stop the car from 60-0 mph in only 104 feet.
Inside, a futuristic gauge cluster with a heads-up display in the windshield keeps you informed of all your most crucial information including g-forces, revs and speed. High quality Napa leather wraps the interior and features carbon fiber accents throughout.
